Course Policies

  • The River Club is a public golf course, as is its driving range.
  • Tee times are highly recommended.
  • Must be 21 years of age to drive golf cart.
  • All players must have their own set of clubs.
  • Proper golf attire is required. Collared shirts are required for men, and appropriate golf attire is required for women. No jeans, cutoffs, or tank tops are allowed.
  • The River Club has a 48-hour cancellation policy. Customers are responsible for payment for all tee times booked, whether or not all guests show up to play.
  • The River Club has a zero-tolerance policy for outside alcohol. Any golfers found with outside alcohol will be removed from the course without a refund.
  • All players may be paired with other golfers. We are a foursome facility.
  • Pace of play is extremely important to us. Our expected pace is 4 hours and 15 minutes. Rangers may ask you to skip a hole if there is a gap of one hole or more between your group and the players in front of you.
  • Customers are responsible for any damage to golf carts and GPS systems.
  • We are an “Utmost Respect” facility. Each employee is trained to speak respectfully to all customers at all times.
  • Each customer is expected to follow the same standard. Any abusive, loud, or profane behavior may result in removal from the course.

Is walking allowed?

We do not allow walking.

Do you offer memberships?

We do not offer annual, seasonal or range memberships. We are 100% public.

Is the turf range open to the public? Do I need to play golf to access range?

The range is open to the public and you do not need to play golf to access it. You may buy range tokens in the pro shop.

Do you offer 9 hole rates?

We do not offer 9 hole rates, however, we do offer a twilight rate at 3PM which is an excellent time to play 9, 12 or former many holes you can get for a very reasonable price.

What is the setup? What do I do when I come to the course?

  • Please use the bag drop and have our staff assist you. If you are planning on going to the range, please use one of our complimentary range carts in the front of the pro shop. Buy range tokens when you are checking in for golf. When you are done with the range, please drive to see our starter at back of building and he will transfer your bag to our ON COURSE carts with GPS which are all staged by tee times.
  • Cold beverages and hot and ready sandwiches are available for purchase in pro shop. We provide coolers for drinks if you place to buy a few.
  • At the end of the round, drive your cart to your car and load your belongings. Staff will retrieve your cart from you, or you can drive to front door if you are going in for a beer and sandwich.
  • We offer a bev cart and halfway house 7 days a week November through April.
  • In May through September, we only offer Bev cart on weekends, so PLEASE have 4-5 hours worth of fluids with you will not pass the clubhouse after hole 9.

Are there bathrooms and water stations on the course?

Yes we have 3 on course bathrooms and 5 water stations on the course.
*we have moved away from styrofoam cups and straws due to waste and environmental issues. If you wish to have water, please bring a refillable cup or purchase bottles of water in pro shop or bar area.

How is the food?

Our food is great, and very reasonably priced. You can get it to go from our to go hot boxes, halfway house, or eat in the restaurant. We are a concession style restaurant. Please order at the bar, pay for all items, and all food and beverage will be brought to your table.

Can I bring a rider?

Riders are allowed after 3PM, for a rider fee of $30
Any riders before 3PM must pay full golf rates at the time of play.
